Saccular dilatation of the sub-arachnoid space at the level of T11 resulting in severe caudal thoracic compressive myelopathy. Myelography demonstrated the typical teardrop-shaped widening of the contrast column at the site of the SAD

DIAGNOSIS

Myelographic diagnosis of Spinal Arachnoid Diverticulum (SAD)

Concomitant hypoplasia/aplasia of the caudal thoracic articular vertebral facets (T11, T12 and T13).
