International Veterinary Radiology

IVR is a teleradiology company founded in 2018 by Edoardo Auriemma e Giuseppe Lacava.

It’s the result of a project born in 2011, grown over the following years. IVR wants to be a reference for the veterinarians in Italy and around the world in the teleradiology field.

 

For that reason our company relies on high-qualified TEAM of specialists in veterinary diagnostic imaging (Dip. ECVDI), working daily by your side.

Edoardo Auriemma

DVM, Dipl. ECVDI

 

Gratuated from Veterinary School of the University of Parma in 2003. In 2003 he worked as post-graduated intern at small animal hospital of the Veterinary School of Parma (Italy). In 2004 he started a residency program at Veterinary School of Utrecth (Netherlands). Between 2004 and 2005 visitor at diagnostic imaging departments of the Veterinary School of Uppsala (Sweden) and Knoxville (USA). In 2008 he got the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). Founding partner with Dr.Lacava of the teleradiology company INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY RADIOLOGY (IVR). Head and staff radiologist at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara (Italy), he works as teleradiologist for the company INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY RADIOLOGY. Author and co-author of several international scientific papers and speaker in national and international diagnostic imaging congresses/workshops.

Giuseppe Lacava

DVM, Dipl. ECVDI

 

Gratuated from Veterinary School of the University of Bari in 2008. Rotating intern at the Clinica Veterinaria Malpensa (Italy) in 2009. Radiology intern at Istituto Veterinario di Novara (Italy) in 2011. In 2012 he started a residency program in Diagnostic Imaging at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara. Visitor in Diagnostic Imaging departments of the Veterinary Schools of Guelph, Montreal (Canada) and Liege (Belgium). In 2017 he got the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). Founding partner with Dr.Auriemma of the teleradiology company INTERATIONAL VETERINARY RADIOLOGY (IVR). Actually he works as staff radiologist at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara (Italy) and as teleradiologist for the company INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY RADIOLOGY. Author and co-author of several international scientific papers (Travel Award in 2014, ECVDI-conference, Utrecht, Netherlands) and speaker in national and international diagnostic imaging congresses/workshops.

Silvia Rabba

DVM, MSc, Dipl. ECVDI

 

Gratuated from Veterinary School of the University of Turin in 2003. After an internship at Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort (France), she worked as veterinarian at the private practice of Dr.Giommi. In 2007 she started his combined residency/Master Science program in Diagnostic Imaging at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Liege (Belgium). She worked in 2013 as Junior Universitair Docent at the Veterinary School of Utrecht (Netherlands). In 2014 she got the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). Actually she works as staff radiologist at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara (Italy), as teleradiologist for the company INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY RADIOLOGY and as large animal radiologist in private practice. Author and co-author of several international scientific papers (Best Poster in 2012, IVRA Meeging) and speaker in national and international diagnostic imaging congresses/workshops.

Maria Elena Andreis

In 2017 she worked as intern at Clinica Veterinaria Vezzoni (Italy). Rotanting and radiology intern between 2018 and 2019 at Istituto Veterinario di Novara. In december 2019 she started a residency program in Diagnostic Imaging at Istituto Veterinario di Novara. Chiara Massarenti

Graduated cum laude from Veterinary School of the University of Bologna in 2015. In 2018 she completed the II level University Master’s degree in Small Animal Diagnostics at the University of Teramo. She worked in 2017-2020 at Clinica Veterinaria Malpensa in the Diagnostic Imaging department. In 2020-2021 she worked as radiology intern at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara where, in July 2022, she started a residency program in Diagnostic Imaging. Winner of “best resident ore presentation” (EVDI conference 2023, Dublin, Ireland). She cooperates as teleradiologist supervised resident for IVR teleradiology company.

Gratuated from Veterinary School of the University of Bologna in 2017. Intern at the Clinica Privata Veterinaria San Marco, Padova (Italy) in 2019. In the same year he worked as post-graduated intern at small animal hospital of the Veterinary School of Bologna (Italy).
